A bloated hello to you (I’ve just eaten a massive bowl of chilli con carne). In the words of Miranda Hart: “Welcome to my humble what I call “blogosphere”. Someone once told me: “Once someone writes in third person, they’ve lost me”, and I couldn’t agree more. So here is my blog, composed of my personal thoughts and opinions about life and various pieces of writing. Oh, by the way, I’m Kristina, but you can call me K (because I’m down with the youths like that).
Now that I’ve finished University I’ve had to give this “adult” thing a go… and I’ve landed safely in the field of PR and events, you’ll be happy to know(SNAPS ALL AROUND)!
This part of my blog is called “about me” (ALWAYS MY FAVOURITE PART), so here’s a couple of things you might like to know: my biggest accomplishment is managing to stretch a big bag of salt and vinegar Kettle crisps over a time frame of three days (THREE ENTIRE DAYS!); my dad is a Prada man from the neck up; and when drinking tea these days, I’m not as milky as I used to be.
Now that’s out of the way, I’d also like you to know that I very much enjoy writing, whatever style it may be in. As an (ex) English Literature student, I have been taught over the past three years to always write academically… BUT, I feel that it is important to express your own opinion from time to time, in whichever way you want. That’s how this whole thing happened.
This is a blog about non-fiction writing, a kind that allows that freedom of expression that we all yearn for. Every now and then, AKA when I have time, now that I’ve actually had to grow up, start plucking my facial hair(DEAL WITH IT) and learn how to deal with 48hr hang overs, I’ll be commenting on different pieces of writing.
Well… If you’ve read this far, there is hope that you will enjoy the rest of my writing. In the meantime, I thank you very much. Kind regards to all you readers out there. May the books be with you.
